Iconic Vogue Cover Recreation
A photography project aimed at recreating some iconic Vogue covers of all times. Our main aim was to replicate the style and original essence of the covers that made them so special in the first place.

Detroit-born model Donyale Luna was the first ever non-white cover girl featured on the cover of Vogue. Recreated with a brown-skinned model, we wanted to focus on striking the eye makeup and the powerful stare.

Jean Shrimpton, the face of modelling in the 60s, photographed by Richard Avedon.

Edward Enninful's first cover as editor-in-chief of British Vogue made history by featuring model of colour Adwoa Aboah. The styling and shot evoked a vintage vibe which was the focus of the recreation.

Actress and model Veronica Hamel photographed by Irving Penn for "The Ornamental Eye" which featured her striking green eyes outlined with a bold zebra stripe.

This project was conceptualised, styled, shot, and edited by Hitanshi Kamdar, Niharika Mavuri, and Shreya Tingal
